The Pleasant Hill Village Council met to review community updates, utility projects, and upcoming events. Council members shared updates on village signage, development opportunities, and local services that affect residents.

  • The village council announced that a new LED sign will soon be installed for better communication with residents.
  • Sidewalk improvements are underway and expected to be completed by September for areas being done by residents themselves.
  • Council members will review a draft rental permit policy, focusing on multi-apartment dwellings, with about 20% of homes in Pleasant Hill currently rented.

  • At the July 23 JFD meeting, it was announced that Fire Chief Jeff Alexander will step down.
