The Pleasant Hill Village Council held a workshop to welcome a new council member, review updates on village utilities, parks, and library services, and plan upcoming projects. Council also addressed ordinance maintenance and scheduled future meetings.
- Crystal Stoner was officially sworn in as a Village Council member for a two-year term.
- Council approved the installation of Peace Poles in Monument Park to display community banners.
- A new digital sign will be installed next to the Firehouse for public announcements.
- The library will offer after-hours book pick-up lockers for resident convenience.
- Village office hours will change for the summer: Monday and Friday 8 a.m.–12 p.m., Tuesday–Thursday 6 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Future council meetings in June will be held at the Pleasant Hill Library.
- An ordinance to remove repealed ordinances from the official Ordinance Book will move forward for passage.
- The next blood drive is scheduled for July 7th, as part of community health initiatives.
- Crystal Stoner will serve as the Village Council representative to the Joint Fire District Board.
- The BPA recommended using Access Engineering to pursue grants for a wastewater digester to speed up the project.
- Village leadership continues planning improvements to utilities, parks, and community engagement programs.
