ACH Agreement

Save time and avoid the 3% credit card fee. With ACH autopay, your bi-monthly utility bill drafts automatically from your bank account. You sign up once and never have to think about it again.

How It Works

  • Your bill drafts on the 15th of each billing month (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov).
  • The amount drafted matches your utility bill total (water, sewer, refuse, capital improvement charges).
  • You can cancel anytime by notifying the Village Office in writing.
  • If your account does not have sufficient funds twice in one year, the Village will void the agreement.

Rules

  1. “Bill” means Water, Sewer, Refuse, Capital Water, and Capital Sewer charges.
  2. Your bank treats each ACH draft as if it were a check signed by you.
  3. This agreement stays in effect until you, the Village, or your bank revokes it.
  4. The bank’s only duty is to debit the amount issued by the Village.
  5. If a draft is denied, you will be notified and charged a $30.00 processing fee. You will still need to pay by check, cash, or money order before the due date to avoid penalties.
