• Security improvements for the Village building may include digital locks, cameras, alarms, reinforced doors, and protective barriers before the building is used for regular offices or public events.
• Pleasant Hill reviewed plans for an open house and mural unveiling to showcase the building, artwork, proposed office layout, parking concepts, and future community-use ideas.
• Council considered whether the Board of Public Affairs should continue or whether utility responsibilities could be handled through Village staff and the village council, but no decision was recorded.
• Possible parking changes for the new Village lot included permits, designated spaces, time limits, and overnight parking to help reduce street-parking congestion, but no parking policy was adopted.
• The possibility of a mini roundabout near Main and Monument was considered, but the available space was determined to be too limited for an appropriate ODOT roundabout without removing buildings.
• Council approved posting openings for water treatment plant operators, a street superintendent, and a dual-certified water treatment plant supervisor to strengthen Pleasant Hill’s staffing for utilities and street services.
